The Role
We are seeking a senior mobile and web app developer with expertise in React/React Native to lead the development of our mobile app. This position is ideal for experienced engineers with a track record delivering high-quality RN apps who thrive in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of Rock Rabbit’s mobile app.
- Work closely with SMEs, and the product and design teams to understand end-user requirements and use cases, then translate that into a pragmatic and effective technical solution.
- Develop high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code using React Native and other relevant mobile technologies.
- Navigate and manage rapid development cycles and evolving project demands efficiently.
- Stay current with the latest industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our products and processes.
About You
- Solid (3+ years) experience in front-end development with a focus on React Native.
- Strong knowledge of state management technologies, such as Redux or MobX.
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Experience with agile software project management processes and tools.
- Adaptability and flexibility to work in an early-stage startup environment.
- Familiarity with web development is preferred.
Compensation
The U.S. base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000 plus benefits, equity and variable compensation for Sales-related roles. This range represents Rock Rabbit’s good faith estimate of competitively-priced salary for the role based on national, real-time industry data from companies of a similar growth stage. This range reflects minimum and maximum new hire salaries for the role across US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by location and individual factors including relevant skills, experience and education or training. This range correlates to the relative level of the candidate we believe we need for the role and may require an adjustment for candidates of a different level. We can share more about the specific salary range for the location this role is based during the hiring process.
